Hi Dustin

And he might very well be a new crew member as well. We shall see.

On the eve of an entire computer wipe, I don't have the master boot disc, so I got creative and attacked this virus problem with the breadth of my intelect, and it looks like I have it about licked. No pop-ups, but IE still opens the start page with a YOU HAVE SPYWARE page, and then offers to sell my antivirus protection. Well, as if I needed it, now I have ANOTHER excuse to use Mozilla. And I will. And so will the moms if this works. Cross your fingers, Major THreat, I may be on in an hour or so...

Double Life--->

It's hard. On the one hand I am a successful store manager. My store is #4 in the area behind my boss's and 2 others that have just ridiculously great locations. I make a fair wage, I have my own office, and my people respect me. It's good, for now, while I have a good staff and good sales.

On the other hand, I run my own pirate website that I cannot talk about at work. I'm the Captain, and I have a motley and bizarre diverse crew of pirate mateys. We rarely ever actually see or communicate with each other in the real world, (shit there are the pop-ups. damnit!) but we are in many ways closer than most of the people I come into contact with. I can talk about work here, but usually don't.

So What, Captain? Well, some times at work I come across people who are truly worthy. "My people" as I refer to them. So how does someone make the cross over from coworker to pirate? They have to quit. Of their own free will. They have to quit working for me without screwing me and then i can introduce them to the website. Of course, there is always the element of chance. As in the case of Talayna's. But usually I don't make quitting easy. It generally entails an entire week or 2 of Hell, bad attitudes, and workworkwork. If you want to really quit on me, you have to earn it. But if you can make it I will give you a glowing recomendation. Which is useful, because I didn't fire the person in the first place. That happens a LOT. Did I ever mention the 18 year old mormon girl I fired 3 days before christmas last year? Of course not. That is some shit I don't like to talk about. But I'd do it again.

GYAR! I just found out that my archives don't show up in mozilla. WTF is up with that? It's just the blogger template with the posts all written out like code. Why hasn't anyone said anything before now? Or even now, I found out for myself? Are you still using IE? you should be ashamed. That's like driving an import in the 80's. It works good, but a lot of people think it's a bad idea. Gaaz, I gues the new masthead isn't going to cut it. it's been over a year, I guess it's time for an overhaul. You too, candy...

And a new member Button. Want one? Just ask.

Okay, I'm going back to work on fixing my computer... wish me luck.

Yup, I still use IE! I tried foxfire and hated all the little tabs. And I WONT use netscape if I have any other options :)

Kim is filling me in a little of school districts and what-not. I think I am going to rob a bank and live in Kirkwood. I'd have to rob a bank to live in Kirkwood... Jeez!
