Oops! I Did It Again...
I made something cool as fuck:

It's the bottom of my new paint gun case, as shown in the previous post. You might recognize the outline, you know of B.O.B.? I'm also probably going to outline it by hand with some black paint, and make it all choppy (dirty.) It sucks not having a plotter like I had at the sign shop, I had to cut the pattern out by hand. That meant a midnight trip to Wally world, followed by a mad angry search for a friggin' X-Acto knife. Not in the school supplies, not in the hardware like the midnight stocker/slave told me, but they sell them in the model area as "hobby knives." I bought 3. while I was there, some guy dropped some small thing and it rolled under a shelf. He asked the guy helping him if he had a broom or something, and since I was already in the hardware section, I handed him a yardstick. Even when I am not involved in a situation at all, I'm still the most useful MF around. Almost bought the yardstick as well, but I don't need a yardstick.
The above photo was purely a test, to see if the masking material I selected [read:found in the basement] would be suitable. Once again, I wish I had access to the materials available at the sign shop. I could have completed the job in half the time, and been completely miserable while I did it.
Here's the preminary design for the front side:

Remember that logo? It's from the gun manufacturer. It's still wrong, but close enough for me. I cannot duplicate the shadow effect, but I will use flat black spraypaint in a sort of knockoff knockoff way. I'm thinking gloss black for the skull, bu I have to see how well the mask on the back worked. It's a complicated design, and with out transfer tape from the shop...
I've been trying to get a new car these past few days. Anyone who reads the messageboard could tell you that. But It's been kinda stressful and shit, and I didn't really feel like posting. I don't want to get rid of my car, but It's getting pretty bad. Now, on top of needing brakes, tires, a heater core, and other stuff, the exhaust is all jacked up. I work with a guy that doesn't have a car, so I'm going to sell him the tracer for 100$, but I don't really want to get rid of it. But I guess if wanting it to be fixed would do the job, I wouldn't have to.
I almost got busted slacking off at work the other day. I had put my book down to use both hands to pick a booger, and suddenly the driver opened the door. Man, the afternoons at work are dull. The Rum Diary, however, is very good. like a good meal or a cigarette, I am savoring every moment.
